We have Energy Efficiency Improvement contracts with the various Transmission and Distribution Companies in Texas.

The Texas Electric Choice Act calls for a reduction in statewide energy consumption through market–based "Standard Offer Programs". In response to this, all Texas Transmission and Distribution Companies (not retailers Cirro, Reliant, Direct ect.) are funding various energy efficiency programs intended to:

Reduce customers consumption and energy costs.
Stimulate investment in efficient technologies most likely to reduce the Utilities' Electric Delivery peak capacity requirements.
Make energy efficiency incentive programs available to all customer classes regardless of whom they have chosen as their Electric Retail Provider.

How Much Can you save?

Standard Offer Programs available throughout Texas:

Residential and Small Commercial Program - This program is designed to encourage consumers to make an investment in upgrades to the energy efficiency levels of their homes and small businesses. This program usually pays for the materials involved with a project, leaving the consumer with only labor cost to pay for.

Low-Income Weatherization Program - This program is designed to work with contractors to assist residential customers with income levels 200% above federal poverty level. This program typically pays for 100% of the improvements made to a home.
